4 1/2 super thin cutting disc use safety precautions? December 06, 2018 10:56 PM

When using 4 1/2 super thin cutting disc, some users did not pay attention to some things, resulting in inefficient work when using the cutting blades, or some safety problems. So what should the user pay attention to when using the cutting piece?

When the diameter of the grinding wheel is less than 40mm and the width of the grinding wheel is less than 50mm and the speed of the grinding wheel is below 34m/s, the circumferential wall thickness of the protective cover is not less than 6mm, and the thickness of the two side walls is not less than 4mm. If a protective cover is made of cast steel, its wall thickness should be 12 times thicker than that of the steel plate. If the diameter or width of the grinding wheel is increased, the wall thickness of the protective cover should be correspondingly thickened. In high-speed grinding, the wall thickness of the protective four is increased, and the reinforcing plate is used to make the structure more firm; the energy layer can be returned to the inner wall of the protective cover to reduce the impact of the grinding wheel debris on the casing. Under the premise of not affecting the grinding of the grinding wheel, the opening of the casing should be reduced to reduce the chance of the grinding wheel breaking block flying out of the opening, and to reduce the scattering surface when the piece flies out.

In addition, during grinding and dressing, care should be taken to prevent the grinding and crushing of sand and the splashing of the grinding fluid and the formation of water mist, so as not to affect the operator's health and environmental pollution.
